ActionOutline is a Windows desktop application for storing and arranging information in a tree outline structure similar to Windows Explorer. It supports rich text formatting, embedded pictures, tags/checks, search and replace, printing, and export to RTF and HTML, plus linking to web or local files. Secure and Network Editions add encryption/password protection and network document sharing respectively, and outlines can be turned into eBooks for sharing without requiring the software.
