Ano is a team chat application for AI-native teams, offering channels, threads, and direct messages similar to Slack, with an embedded Shell that runs Claude Code directly inside every channel. People and AI agents can run CLIs, MCP servers, and scripts, and post the results straight back into the conversation. Custom AI 'Coworkers' can be created, given tools and a personality, and invited into channels to work alongside the team. It is currently a free open beta for macOS, with iOS available via the desktop app.
