CapRover is a free, open-source platform-as-a-service (PaaS) built on Docker that lets users deploy and manage apps on their own infrastructure. It automates server setup tasks like Docker container builds, routing via nginx, and HTTPS certificate issuance via Let's Encrypt. Apps can be deployed from a dashboard, CLI, webhook, or existing Git workflow, and the platform can scale by adding nodes to a Docker Swarm cluster.
