CurlShot is an online tool and HTTP API that renders a web page, HTML, or Markdown into a screenshot image (PNG, JPEG, WebP), a PDF, or a scrolling video (MP4, WebM, GIF). Users can paste a web address to get an instant full-page or top-of-page screenshot with no installation, or call the API to automate captures at scale. It offers device presets (phone, tablet, desktop), ad and cookie-banner blocking, dark mode capture, element-level capture via CSS selector, response caching, signed links, async rendering with webhooks, and bulk requests. It also provides an MCP server, OpenAPI description, and llms.txt map so AI agents can use the same capture capabilities.

All paid plans are billed monthly at a fixed price for a set number of screenshots; failed renders and cache hits don't count against the allowance. Overage is optional, prepaid, and capped by the user (Starter $8, Growth $5, Scale $4 per extra 1,000 screenshots). Prices are in US dollars; taxes are added at checkout where they apply. First payment is refundable in full within 14 days. Custom pricing available for volumes above the Scale plan.
