Dinky is a macOS app that automatically compresses and converts images, videos, audio, and PDFs. It converts still images to WebP, AVIF, HEIC, or lossless PNG, exports smaller MP4 video with optional FPS cap, cross-converts audio formats via afconvert, and flattens or preserves PDFs with optional scan OCR. It runs entirely locally on the user's Mac with no cloud upload or account required, and is free and open source under the MIT license.
