EmailRecon is a disposable email detection API that determines whether an email address or domain is a burner/temporary address or a privacy relay (such as Apple Hide My Email, Mozilla Relay, DuckDuckGo, or SimpleLogin), returning the relay provider's name when applicable. It maintains curated disposable-domain lists that are re-synced daily, verifies candidate domains via DNS, and has a human curator confirm classifications before they are published. Results are returned via a single API call, with an optional domain-only privacy mode that never transmits the full address, and an optional recon-watch webhook that pushes newly classified burner domains as they are found.
