Write now, edit later.·enso.sonnet.io

Ensō is a macOS writing app designed to help users enter a state of flow by hiding previously typed text as they type, preventing editing until the draft is finished. It offers a toggleable 'Coffeeshop Mode' that obscures text for privacy, six accessible visual themes, and support for non-Latin languages and bidirectional text. The app has no analytics or telemetry, keeping all writing data on the user's device.
