FDRTools is HDR (High Dynamic Range) imaging and digital panorama photography software that merges multiple differently-exposed photos to overcome overexposure and noise limitations of digital cameras. It uses a tone mapping process to turn dull, low-contrast photos into images with greater detail and contrast. It is offered as standalone programs (FDRTools Basic, FDRTools Advanced) and as a Photoshop plug-in (FDRCompressor).
