Kern Type is a browser-based game that teaches kerning by asking players to adjust the spacing between letters in a word until it matches the ideal spacing. Players are scored out of 100 based on how close their letter spacing is to the correct kerning. The game supports keyboard shortcuts for nudging letters and lets players share or tweet their score.
