Mimiri Notes is a cross-platform, end-to-end encrypted note-taking application that lets users organize notes in a nested tree structure and sync them across devices in real time. All data is AES-GCM-256 encrypted on-device before it ever leaves, so neither Mimiri nor its servers can read user content. It supports secure encrypted sharing of notes or note branches with trusted collaborators, offline access via a local data copy, and unlimited version history. The client and server code are fully open source under GPLv2, allowing self-hosting for technically skilled users.
