mirrord connects a local process to a real Kubernetes cluster, letting engineers and AI coding agents run, test, and debug code against live services without deploying. It hooks low-level syscalls so local code behaves as if it is running inside the cluster (file I/O, network, environment, DNS, secrets), proxying traffic through a temporary pod. The mirrord Operator adds session isolation, RBAC, queue splitting, and multi-cluster support for teams sharing a staging cluster.
