Movim is a distributed blogging and messaging platform built on the XMPP protocol. It brings together chatrooms, a social news feed, stories, and video-conferences in a single responsive interface that works across phone, tablet, and computer. It can connect to multiple XMPP servers at once or be run as a private, self-hosted social platform, and it interoperates with other XMPP clients such as Conversations and Dino.
