ReportServer is a business intelligence (BI) platform that combines pixel-perfect reporting, ad-hoc analysis, Excel/Word reporting, and multidimensional OLAP analytics in a single server application. It integrates established reporting engines such as Jasper Reports, Eclipse BIRT and SAP Crystal Reports, and supports Mondrian OLAP with the Saiku UI for multidimensional analysis. The platform is extendable via Groovy scripting and offers access control, scheduling, and team collaboration features. A free, open-source Community Edition exists alongside paid Enterprise and Corporate licenses.
