SafeSwiss is a private messaging app for smartphones and tablets that provides end-to-end, device-to-device encryption for voice calls, text/SMS chat, video, images, data and file transfers. It uses Elliptic Curve Cryptography and a proprietary protocol (EL337) so that no third party, including SafeSwiss server operators, can decrypt messages or intercept calls. Registration is anonymous, requiring no phone number, email, or SIM card, and messages can be set to self-destruct after being read.
