SiteMonitor is a Windows application that checks websites and hosts at regular intervals using protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, TCP and ICMP, and alerts the user by email or SMS when something goes down. It also verifies that returned page content is correct and can generate uptime, response-time and status-code reports. It is offered in a Lite edition and an Enterprise edition for more complex monitoring needs.
