TaskYak (referred to on various pages as YakSoft or 'the Yak') is a distributed task scheduler and workflow orchestration platform delivered as a single native binary with zero dependencies. It schedules and monitors cron-style and interval jobs, orchestrates multi-step workflows through a visual canvas editor or scripting, and coordinates distributed worker nodes across a cluster. It provides real-time monitoring, alerting, process management, and hardware monitoring, and runs entirely on the user's own self-hosted infrastructure.
