Thunderbolt is an open-source, cross-platform, extensible AI client for web, desktop, and mobile. It lets users or organizations connect any ACP-compatible agent or any model with an OpenAI-compatible API (such as Claude, Codex, OpenClaw, DeepSeek, or OpenCode). It can be self-hosted on an organization's own infrastructure to keep data under their control, and supports MCP integrations, automations, and enterprise deployment support. The docs note it is in active development and not yet intended for production use.
