Tkabber is a free and open source Jabber/XMPP instant messaging client written in Tcl/Tk. It runs on multiple platforms including Linux, Windows, and macOS X, and supports a wide range of XMPP protocol extensions. It is extensible via a plugin system and a Tcl-based configuration/scripting file. The client supports encrypted and compressed sessions, file transfer, group chat, and off-the-record messaging through optional extensions.
