Zim is a graphical text editor used to maintain a collection of wiki pages, inspired by the way people use wikis. Pages can contain links to other pages, simple formatting, and images, and are stored as plain text files with wiki formatting in a folder structure. Creating a new page is as easy as linking to a nonexistent page, and pages autosave as you work. Various plugins add functionality such as a task list manager, an equation editor, a tray icon, and version control support.
