Dead Man's Snitch

Dead Man's Snitch is a cron job monitoring service that watches periodic processes such as backups, scheduled emails, or cron jobs and alerts users when a task fails to run as expected. Each monitored task ('snitch') is given a unique URL that the job must call (via curl, email, or other methods) to check in on schedule. If a check-in doesn't happen within the expected interval, the service sends an alert. It supports crontab, Heroku Scheduler, and other periodic processes.
