Doric is a native Windows accounting application for freelancers and small businesses that stores each set of books as a single local file, with no account or subscription required. It provides double-entry bookkeeping, bank file import (CSV, OFX, QFX, QIF), rule-based transaction categorization, payee/1099 tracking, and instant reports such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and trial balance. An optional paid add-on, Doric Cloud, adds automatic bank feeds and encrypted off-site backup while books remain in the user's local file. Invoicing is announced as a coming feature.
