Gnosi is a local-first, open source workspace positioned as a self-hostable alternative to Notion and Obsidian. It combines notes, databases, a knowledge graph, a reference manager, mail, calendar and AI features on top of the user's own Markdown files. It runs as a self-hosted FastAPI backend with a Vite frontend, with optional desktop (Electron) and PWA installations.
