Herd is a platform and SDK for automating your own browser, or millions of them, similar to Puppeteer but with support for multiple devices and real-time events with no infrastructure to set up. It lets developers extract structured data from websites, build AI web tools, and create MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers so AI agents like ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or Gemini can access web applications through existing browser login sessions. Automation logic is packaged as reusable 'Trails' that can be shared and run with a single command. Credentials stay in the user's browser rather than being sent to the cloud.
