Koha is a fully featured, scalable library management system (integrated library system) used by libraries of all sizes worldwide, including consortia and multi-branch or single-branch libraries. It includes modules for acquisitions, circulation, cataloging, serials management, authorities, flexible reporting, label printing, multi-format notices, and offline circulation for when internet access is unavailable. It is built on standards such as MARC21, UNIMARC, z39.50, SRU/SW, SIP2 and SIP/NCIP for interoperability, and its OPAC, circulation, management and self-checkout interfaces are web-based (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript). Koha is distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 3 or later.
