Latitude is an open-source, MIT-licensed platform for monitoring and improving production AI agents. It captures production telemetry (traces, spans, sessions), detects recurring failures as 'signals', dispatches a coding agent (e.g. Claude Code or Cursor) with the evidence attached to fix them, and verifies the fix against production-derived tests and live traffic. It is available as a managed cloud service or a self-hosted deployment.

What it's for

Observing production AI agent traffic (traces, spans, sessions)Discovering recurring failure patterns and clustering them into issuesAlerting teams via Slack, email, or webhooks when issues occurDispatching a coding agent to implement a fix and open a pull requestBuilding golden datasets from validated production traces for evals/regression testsSearching and filtering sessions with semantic, text, and metadata filtersAnnotating traces/spans with human feedbackMonitoring agent cost, latency, and tool reliabilityImporting existing traces from other observability platforms

Features 19

  • Advanced filtering: semantic search, exact text, and metadata filters
  • Agent Dispatch: sends full context to a coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor) to implement a fix and open a PR
  • AI agent telemetry capture via OpenTelemetry or SDKs (TypeScript, Python)
  • Audit logs
  • Automatic failure clustering into tracked 'signals'
  • Automatic golden dataset creation from validated production traces
  • Conversation intelligence to surface behavior patterns (escalations, abandonments, retries)
  • Cost, latency, and token tracking per session/model/tool
  • Custom signal definitions for tracking specific behaviors or quality checks
  • Data residency hosted in Europe
  • Experiments for comparing agent variants on production data
  • Human annotations on traces, spans, or outputs
  • Import of existing traces from other observability platforms
  • Memory view tracking persistent agent memory changes
  • PII redaction before data storage
  • Real-time alerts via Slack, email, or webhooks on new/escalating issues
  • Remote OAuth-authenticated MCP server for managing a Latitude workspace from AI agents/editors
  • SSO and SAML 2.0 support
  • Trace, span, and session observability
