Technitium Mesh is a secure, anonymous, peer-to-peer (p2p), open source instant messenger designed to provide end-to-end encryption. It works over the Internet and private LAN networks for instant messaging, private chats, group chats, and file transfer. It supports both pure p2p profiles and anonymous profiles that use the Tor network, relying on Distributed Hash Tables (DHT) instead of centralized servers or BitTorrent trackers.
