Quiet is a peer-to-peer messaging app that lets teams, organizations, or groups of friends create private communities without relying on central servers. Messages are synced directly between devices over the Tor network and encrypted end-to-end, protecting both message content and metadata like IP address and contact lists. It offers a Slack/Discord-style experience with channels, direct messages, file sharing, and invite links, but without requiring an email address or phone number to join.
