It uses a page-based interface rather than an infinite canvas and supports stylus input from MPP 2.0+ devices, Wacom, and Huion tablets. Users can import PDFs, annotate them with handwriting, highlights, and shapes, then export back to PDF, with all notes stored locally and manual backups available. A free Base version covers core note-taking, while Noteastic Pro adds features like text boxes and a laser pointer.
