Prav
Privacy and convenience with choice of providers·prav.app
Prav is a messaging service that lets users exchange messages, audio/video calls, files, images and videos over the Internet, registering with just a phone number. It is built on an open network (XMPP-compatible) so users can talk to people on other apps like Quicksy, Monocles Chat, Dino, Gajim, and Monal without vendor lock-in. All messages are end-to-end encrypted by default, and the app is free/libre software with publicly available source code. Prav is organized as a cooperative (in the process of registration) where members can vote on decisions such as the privacy policy and roadmap.
