Syphon is an open source, not-for-profit chat client built on the Matrix protocol, focused on privacy and ease of use. It connects users through a decentralized, end-to-end encrypted network using the Olm/Megolm encryption library provided by Matrix. The app includes no analytics or tracking and minimizes metadata normally sent over the Matrix network. It is currently in Open Alpha and is not considered ready for everyday use.
